Pomatomus Sock

I finished the first Pomatomus Sock last night. This sock was so scary for me. I had wound up the yarn in Spring and had put off making it because I thought it was too hard. Thanks to the support on the F5 thread at Ravelry I cast on for it a few weeks ago. It's not too hard!! Yeah!!
I do have to pay attention and I may have made a few mistakes but I do love it. I can't knit too long at one time because my silly back is giving me problems but I do think the second one will go much faster. I finished the ribbing and I will work on the first repeat of chart A today!!!

This is the last of the flowers. We have had some really hard frosts and most of my plants are DEAD. The flowers next to the house are still alive and this little rose is still trying to bloom.
I wonder how much longer they can last. I should pick them and bring them in.

Valentine Baking, Yum

+These cookies looked so yummy in the Cottage Living Magazine that I just had to try them. I used Macadamia Nuts in the dough instead of hazelnuts because I couldn't find any hazelnuts at the store. Used a super dark chocolate from Germany. These were very good!!!
.

First sock done for the Loopy Ewe Sock KAL. Started the gusset last night for the second sock.

I am wanting to do the Dream In Color KAL from the Loopy Ewe but having a little trouble knowing what color to chose. There are only a few left. Totally my fault though. I wouldn't look at the thread on Ravely because I WAS NOT going to do the KAL. I am sooo weak!
Horribly slippery outside today. Driving on my side road is interesting. I have no control of the car what so ever. It just slides on top of the ice in a very scary way!!!!

Nine to Five Sock

Nine to Five Sock
This sock is for the Loopy Ewe KAL. Dream in Color-Giant Peach.
I love this sock yarn and the color. Makes me think of spring which is a long ways away.

This is what happens to you when it is too cold outside to ski. Pretty scary!! They do this so they don't get frostbite and also to be a bit silly, I suppose.
Today it is snowing, which is great news because I has been -20+ for a week and a half.
